The Brookland church of Christ in Brookland, Arkansas, will hold its 2026 gospel meeting Oct. 4-7 with Jimmy Young as the guest speaker.
The meeting will center on the theme “Living as Followers of Christ.” Young, a West Texas native who has preached since 1972, spent 15 years in mission work in Germany and Romania. He currently preaches with the Breakbill church near Maynard, Arkansas.
The meeting begins Sunday, Oct. 4, with Bible class at 9 a.m. on Philippians, followed by worship at 9:50 a.m. with the lesson “As a Follower of Christ, What?” A potluck is scheduled from 11 a.m. to noon, followed by a 2 p.m. worship service and the lesson “Respect the Root and the Fruit.”
Weeknight services begin at 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. Topics are “Activities of the Christian Life” on Monday, “A Winner’s Heart” on Tuesday and “We Have Reason to Rejoice” on Wednesday.
