The tone of news coverage among churches of Christ has shifted noticeably and dramatically, and not for the better. More often than not, congregations that insist on following the biblical pattern as taught in the New Testament are being marginalized, while more “culture-driven” congregations receive the bulk of media attention.
The Wayfellow was created to stand in the gap and serve faithful congregations with the news and information they need, while still remaining true to the authority of God’s word. We are here to serve Christians who are determined to remain “scripture-driven” instead of “culture-driven.”

The name of our news service was chosen because it reflects the fact that Christians are fellow travelers on “the Way” (Acts 9:2; 19:9,23). We need to support and encourage one another towards our heavenly home. To that end, we will publish content that is truthful, fair, and consistent with New Testament Christianity, as well as being a source of encouragement to those who are seeking to do His will.
We hope you will join us on this journey, and make The Wayfellow part of your regular reading. Everything on the site is free. Please share your congregation’s news, tell us about gospel meetings and worthy mission works, and recommend resources for us to review and publicize. You can do this either by getting a free account at https://thewayfellow.substack.com, or by leaving a message at our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/thewayfellow.
Thank you for joining us at the beginning of this journey. We pray that The Wayfellowwill become a trusted source of information, encouragement, and biblical truth for Christians everywhere. So please help us by sharing our website and Facebook pageswith other who may be interested. Together we can support and encourage one another to remain faithful to “The Way” (John 14:6).
